Job Description:

Perform panels’ breakdown under the guidance of senior engineers. Perform simple engineering design work and calculations. Familiar with contract specifications. Make relevant/ appropriate material selection. Perform interference check. Perform site checks and resolve site problems. Assist Senior Draftsman in planning schedules for drawing completion and issuance. Seek new ideas/ solutions to improve the current designs, work methods and procedures. Liaise with other Engineering sections on drafting matters

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Sketch Up or rendering ability is a plus.
• Previous experience working in various phases of project development with knowledge of residential construction detailing.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Patience to make incremental changes as projects evolves.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated to learn our process.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Possesses a good understanding of CAD drawing standards.
• Minimum experience of two (2) year with AutoCAD or similar 2D design software.
• Has a good mechanical and conceptual aptitude.
• Takes direction and from senior drafters and management.
• Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere.
